William Gholson and Lt. Col. Robert Mebane (a Continental officer). Badly wounded at the battle of Kirk's Farm. 1782, a Captain under Col. William O'Neal. Descendents are convinced he was promoted to Major during the war. aka Abram Allen, Abram Olen.
