Spring of 1780, at Charleston, SC attached Col. Hugh Tinnen (Orange County Regiment) - not captured, but most of his men were. 1781, a Captain under Lt. Col. Archibald Murphy

and Col. William Moore.

Summer of 1781, attached to Lt. Col. Robert Mebane (a Continental officer). aka Adam Saunders.
