Promoted from Lieutenant 11/28/1776. Resigned from SC 2nd Regiment on 2/16/1778. Joined Militia as Captain in Upper Ninety-Six District Regiment under Col. Andrew Pickens. Captured at Augusta, GA on 9/18/1780. He and 12 others hanged by British.
