Biography

First in NC unit. Moved to Craven County. 1778, enlisted under Capt. Nathaniel Moore. Taken as prisoner by Loyalists to Camden. Because of Smallpox, he was released. Then, joined Capt. Josiah Furman (Fairfield Regiment).
