Frederick Hambright (Lincoln County Regiment). 1780, also a Private under Capt. William Nash (Wilkes County Regiment), attached to Lt. Col. Drury Ledbetter (Montgomery County Regiment) and Col. John Collier (Randolph County Regiment). POW at the battle of Camden, SC, escaped after being held for 29 days. Fall of 1781, a Private under Capt. Richard Simmons and Col. Robert Smith in the newly-created NC State Legion, and in the
