Hugh Tinnen. 1780, a Private again under Capt. John Ray and Lt. Col. Thomas Farmer. 1781, a Private under Capt. Obadiah Harris and Lt. Col. Guilford Dudley in the newly-created NC Light Horse Regiment. Guarded the baggage during the battle of Guilford Court House. 1781, also a Private under Capt. John Ray and Lt. Col. Robert Mebane (a Continental officer). 1781, a Private again under a Capt. Christmas and Col. Hugh Tinnen.
