Fall of 1781, a Private under a Capt. Lilly and Col. Robert Smith in the newly-created NC State Legion, and in the Wilmington Expedition. 1781, a Private under Maj. Buckner Kimbrell and Col. William Lofton. Born in 1760 in Edgecombe County, NC.
